80×100 High Power Monocular Telescope with Smartphone Adapter Tripod, Larger Vision Monoculars for Adults with BAK4 Prism & FMC Lens, Suitable for Bird Watching Hunting Hiking…

This is my first monocular telescope purchase. I have been thinking about it for a while because I struggled with adjusting my binoculars to fit my close-set eyes after others adjusted them to fit their eyes. I bought this affordable and compact size to keep in my van to have ready for trips and outdoor activities. The tripod and smartphone adaptor provides for taking beautiful close-up photos. Very sharp and clear pictures from a great distance. The size of my large Samsung Galaxy Note phone is the only con I have because of the snug fit in the adaptor -- so it is a little hard on my hands due to arthritis -- but that will be resolved when it is time to get a new phone.

I tried this out at home and was amazed at how much more.i liked it than my binoculars. It was easy to see through. Easy to focus. Easy to find my target. Looking out from my patio I was able to zoom right in on the casinos in the Las Vegas Valley with great clarity. From there I took it to a golf tournament I was a volunteer at. A great assist not just on the course but also as those from out of town were asking about things in the distance and just for entertainment purposes.
The best, though, was on a cruise ship. As whales were breaching off the back of the ship everyone was passing it around to get a good view. Some hooked up their cell phones and got nice video as well. With the tripod there was no issue of stability. It also has a nice sturdy wrist strap for people like me who drop things easily.
All-in-all for a product I wasn't sure about when buying it turned out to be a great investment and something I use on a regular basis.

Update : 9/20/2024 - While I still stand behind my statement on the great value I find in this monocular, I can't in good conscience ignore the false information declared by the seller. It claims a 100mm objective lens. However, when I measure the opening, it is clearly shy of 50mm. And, as noted in another answer, it doesn't hold up to the 25x70 of my Celestron binoculars (25x zoom, 70mm objective lens). The only reason this gets more use than the Celestron is for earthly targets, and when I'm too lazy to pull out the tripod for spotting. :-) Just different use cases between the two.

It came packaged beautifully, and was immediately and easily usable. I took a picture of the zoomed in hilltops in the distance using my iPhone and the adapter provided within minutes. I was surprised at how quickly I found value in this monocular. I had previously bought the heavy Celestron binoculars, which required a tripod to do anything. This single lightweight device gets used more due to its lightweight and simplicity.

For me the one I got was useless. It would not focus enough to make the image anywhere near sharp, was constantly blurry at all adjustment settings, validated by other people also. Was completely unusable, had to return it. Probably got a dud so I can't tell if it's any good for the people who received correctly manufactured ones. I had high hopes, will not be reordering.

I purchased this to go on vacation out west to Mt. Rushmore, Badlands, Yellowstone and Gran Tetons.
It was amazing. Lightweight and easy to use. I could focus in on scenery and animals and the viewing was very clear. I also used the cell phone attachment and it worked great even with video. Great for bird watching and any outdoor activity. Haven't used indoors but pretty sure it will work great as it did outdoors.

As a family, we have been looking high and low for the appropriate monocular telescope that would allow us to not only be able to watch the wildlife near our home but also to be able to see the stars and the constellations on clear nights- Something that is becoming an important hobby for all of us. Well, that need has been met and beyond with the purchase of our monocular telescope. This product has given us the image quality that we so desired at a price point we never thought possible. We literally can see the five stars that this product warrants in this rating and beyond. Ifbyou’re looking for an easy to use, quality product we can’t encourage you enough. It’s so amazing to use something so lightweight that can work so spectacularly well. It fit perfectly on to the monopod that we already owned and in no time at all, we were stargazing and watching a family of ducks make their way through the yard . I have had a lifetime of always needing to adjust and re-adjust binoculars, then found I have completely opposite vision in each eye. One good for close up and the other, perfect for distance.
That always caused a compromise of my vision using binoculars.
So for that .... this monocular telescope is always set at the best position for me and I see things I missed before re-adjusting each time.
I love that it can connect to my stand and takes pics with my phone.
Also more crisp and clear easily, each and every time.
This telescope, has a good weight, but not too heavy and feels good to hold on to.
Very well made and takes up little space in my back pack or as it swings on my neck and more comfortable to use than binoculars.
Color is crisp and vibrant and I am seeing so much more and quicker, that I ever did using binoculars.
What a great purchase! Worth giving it a good try to see the benefits.

This monocular offers a very clear image at a great distance. Perfect for bird watching, hunting, or just looking around. The phone feature is easy to setup and attach. I only have two complaints. One is that I have to take off the protective cover of my phone to use it with the monocular. Two, the monocular comes with a stand etc, but only the monocular fits in the carry case. I am searching for a camera bag now to carry/store the monocular. Overall, this is going to be very useful and a lot of fun. Much better than binoculars.

This product does exactly what it claims to do. I can see crystal clear and farther than my binoculars. I probably won't use the camera phone attachment, but it works for nature watching and is lightweight and convenient. Great value
