I wish I knew that this sync module (4, not xr) does not have any means of internal storage. This sync module is the only one made this way!

The reason I didn’t return the set is because the cameras have beautiful clarity- much nicer than the blink 2 does. I placed the new cameras near the doors, since the clarity helps see people better.

The blinks are all backwards compatible, which I love, and I went with a different sync module 2 than what I had before the sync module 4. I set up the rest of my blink 2 cameras and everything is now running great! I just wish the sync module 4 had a memory slot.

I don't know where all of the other reviews came from, but I recieved mine 2 days ago. We had all 3 cameras and a doorbell camera, set up and installed in a little over an hour.
I am a single mom on an incredibly limited income that falls well below the poverty line. My daughters suffered a traumatic event and these cameras have already taken a huge amount of stress away for all of us. They feel secure being able to access the cameras from anywhere through the app. Great clarity during the day and night! For our family, these super affordable cameras have changed our lives, we feel much safer.

I’m at the point where I can trust Blink/Amazon to just ship me the item every time a new product is released from this team. The picture quality is so clear on these new outdoor cameras. The install is just as easy as the last model. The cameras sync with my older sync module (saw a review that mentioned the contrary).

The Blink Outdoor 4 is everything I hoped for in a home security camera—and then some! I bought the 4-camera system and was impressed right out of the box. Setup was fast and painless, and I had my cameras up and running in under an hour.

I just received it and I had set up follow all the directions and just keeps going offline and online , my wifi is great no issue with my wifi. I had unplugged sync module to see if it reconnects and its does for a couple minutes and goes offline again and the module it connects and online but the camera is the issue keeps going offline not connecting and restarted took off the batteries re link it and nope stays good for 8 mins and then goes offline and goes online so on …. May need to return if it doesn’t approve. But works good with seeing videos clear in the day and night. Just the camera needs more improving with staying connected to the module.

What a disappointment. I purchased 2 of these cameras. My first issue was the first installed camera would not record. I called technical support and found that the settings said the camera was “enabled” to record but evidently was NOT. Customer service could not figure out what was going on, but the minute, I disconnected customer service from looking at my settings, the camera suddenly started recording. Next problem, I set the camera to record nighttime activity. This morning I go to view the footage and all I see is a number of videos are “black”! I go to see what is going on and see that even the photo that I took to show the “zone” views has turned to “black”! I check all of my setting’s to see the settings are correct. As I exit the setting back to the screen where the pictures showed which camera is listed, the camera suddenly takes a picture of the room it’s in!!!!!!!!!!! A short time later, the picture changes again BACK to the picture it had originally! I’ve sent an email to customer support but I really don’t have any faith that they will know what the problem is other than one camera is defective. The cameras will have to go back

Blink 4 cameras are great. Great price, great camera. Easy to connect and work seamlessly. We have several and they meet our needs. 5 star

However, USPS delivered this order and threw the camera about 6-7 feet. This is so unacceptable. Please Amazon use your delivery people not USPS - your people are great with their deliveries. I've only had one throw an item, USPS makes a habit out of throwing packages. This was a fairly uncaring attitude on the part of the USPS carrier. He looked bored and just flung the package and hoped it landed close to the front door. Which it did after bouncing off the concrete front porch area and the brick of the house. My Blink camera captured the incident perfectly! Hopefully the camera works. Have not tested it yet. 0 stars for USPS
The other issue with the delivery is that the camera box was not secured within the shipping box - a little padding goes a long ways. It was simply placed in a larger box with a very small amount of packing paper - not sufficient to hold the camera box securely in place. 0 stars for Amazon Packing

The new cameras work great BUT I was forced to buy the new Blink 4 cams since my Blink 3 outdoor cameras & doorbell cam set I’d purchased 2yrs ago (which had worked well those 2yrs) but all stopped working correctly after the new Blink 4 cams & doorbell cams were released! I worked for 2 frustrating months (2-3 hours each call) with Blink support & my internet service provider in order to try & figure out why they stopped working & kept being told by Blink “it’s your internet provider’s fault”. I insisted it must be an issue with the new camera drop OR the sync module 2; Blink reluctantly sent me another (refurbished) sync module 2 but it didn’t help. So I finally relented & purchased the Blink 4 cams & surprise , surprise the new Blink 4 cams work great with the same exact internet service the Blink 3 cams & DB worked well with for 2yrs solid so it wasn’t my internet that was causing issues! Now I have to purchase a new doorbell as well because the one I purchased with the Blink 3 cams won’t work with the new, different sync module (not the XR) that came with the Blink 4 cams! WHY doesn’t Blink just tell you the old cameras will no longer work correctly after a new camera drop? Smh
