Eufy has done it again with this Camera. This unit is AWESUM. Full of features (putting other camera companies to shame... hint hint Wyze) and the APP is GREAT compared to others. VERY user friendly. And of course the number 1 selling point for me. NO FEES!!!!!! NO EXTRA Monthly costs!!!! (if you do not want to use their cloud services) Hey a micro SD card works for me, no need for any one else to have access to anything I record. (Ya I know all companies say their clouds are private and secure... And they all are till they are not. Think about it.)

The video is crisp and clear and no or very little lag. GREAT CAMERA!!!!!!!! Will be buying more of these cameras to replace others I have.

UPDATE: 13 Feb 2023: I have to update this review due to the POOR customer service I've received from EUFY. This company used to be OK. I've got other cameras, and when I had issues in the past they were right on it to either fix or replace their product. Well something has drastically changed. I brought this camera over christmas time and it worked great till about 3 weeks ago. Then it stopped recording motion. It will record if you select continuous, but not just motion. I contacted Eufy multiple times looking for a fix. In the past I've had this issue and they promptly replaced the camera. This time however they keep saying they are aware of the issue and an update will fix it.... WHEN??????? Still waiting....... Still Waiting. Here is another thing I had to contact them multiple time just to get a response. Never was like that before. Sad a good company going BAD. I stand by what I wrote above as this is a GREAT camera for resolution and NO Service Fees, but seems like their customer service and issues are going to kill this company. I very much considering sending this camera packing and NEVER buying EUFY again. Buyer beware.

UPDATE - 14 Mar 2023 - It really pains me that I have to add this review, but people need to be aware. In the past I have PRAISED EUFY for their quality and customer service on their cameras, but sadly as of late they are and have FALLEN Hard. Here's the story...

So back in Dec 2022 I purchased this camera. It worked GREAT till EUFY did a software/firmware upgrade. From that point on it would not record motion. It would still record continuous 24/7, but not dect/record motion. Contacted EUFY and was told they knew about this issue and would be releasing a new firmware update soon. Well that was months ago. Anyways about a month ago I contacted them again to ask where the firmware update was... No date. So I told them I wanted my money back or a new camera. They sent me a new Camera and told me to keep the one I already had. Cool... Freebee. Great. It worked as advertised till It made me do the firmware update a day later. From that point on it had the same issue as above. Whatever.. Guess I can wait for the firmware update. Then last week the freebee camera they sent me stopped working all together. Keeps falling off line no matter what I do. Will not come on line unless I reset it, and then falls right back off line.

Can't really call and complain to EUFY again now since they already gave me a freebee, so now I have one camera that does not work and one that works kinda. Not good. It seems like there is a trend here that EUFY's products are not living up to what they should. Shame too 'cause their visuals for their cameras are the best I've found for the price. But that being said, what good is that if the functionality isn't there.
So here's where I stand for EUFY Cameras... I will not buy anymore of their cameras/products until they get their products fixed and I suggest others do the same... Let them fix their issues or fall through the floor.

UPDATE: 25 Mar 2024: Changing my review once again... Sorry peoples. :-) Anyways since EUFY fixed their previous software update the cameras are working again as advertised. GREAT Cameras. Sorry if I confused whomever with previous reviews. I would recommend this product and would/will buy again. NO MONTHLY FEES!!!!!!!! Why can't other manufactures get it... We buy your product... We do not want to pay repeatedly for it's use.

I recently purchased the eufy security camera, and I couldn't be more impressed with its performance and features. Here's why it's the best low-budget option with HomeKit Secure Video compatibility, excellent video quality, human detection & tracking, and a compact form factor.

**Low Budget Brilliance**: One of the standout features of the eufy security camera is its affordability. It's perfect for budget-conscious users who still want reliable home security.

**HomeKit Secure Video**: I was thrilled to find a budget-friendly camera that supports HomeKit Secure Video. This adds an extra layer of privacy and security, allowing me to store and review footage on my Apple devices with end-to-end encryption.

**Crystal Clear Video**: The eufy camera delivers exceptional video quality. The 2k resolution ensures that every detail is sharp and clear, whether it's day or night. The night vision is particularly impressive, providing a clear view in low-light conditions.(but due to Apple conditions it’s reduced to 1080P.

**Human Detection & Tracking**: The eufy camera's ability to detect and track humans sets it apart from many other budget cameras. It reduces false alerts and ensures that you're notified only when a person is detected, which is especially handy in high-traffic areas.

In conclusion, the eufy security camera is a fantastic low-budget option that doesn't compromise on essential features. With HomeKit Secure Video compatibility, top-notch video quality, human detection, and its compact design, it's an excellent choice for anyone looking to enhance their home security.

This was a hell of a deal and I’m shocked at how good the picture quality is. I wish I would have had this when my baby was first born because it has an option to detect crying. It could definitely work as a baby monitor. I’m using it to watch my toddler during quiet time. The pan and tilt are great. Picture quality is phenomenal

The only downside is if you want to mount it to the wall it needs a third party mount, but we mounted it to the ceiling no problem.

I've got and love 7 wyze cams and have setup another dozen+ at friends and family homes but they have started to falter with their services and I've had a few of them brick themselves during a firmware update and corrupt SD cards beyond repair.

This Eufy has a far superior picture quality, better wifi reception (it has a full or strong signal where Wyze cams are weak or medium strength), the person and pet detection is built into the camera's AI instead of you having to pay for a cloud service, the notifications are FAST even on LTE with hardly any cool down at all. It also features NAS recording built in without having to fool with a custom firmware (which may be fixed now) but record to a NAS is easily setup in the recording menu of the EUFY and works perfectly.

I do have 2 gripes with the camera...

The main one is that there is no 2 factor authentication for my Eufy account. This is concerning because despite not being able to directly view footage or feed from a website, if you use a weak password, someone can theoretically login to the eufy app on their own smart phone and gain access to your camera. Fair enough so use a strong password right? What happens if a hacker decides they want to contact support posing as me and gives them a different email address and has customer support reset the password? I've experienced this and 2FA saved me. What security protocols does Anker support have to follow to ensure that they don't unknowingly unlock my account to someone else?

Germany and Canada just recently got 2FA so hopefully the US is close behind. I will not be buying more of these until they get it and will be sticking with wyze until they implement 2fa. If they don't have it by the end of the year, I will update my indoor cams with something else, which may be a shame because right now, no one offers anything NEAR this good of image quality for the price. Maybe ring and Arlo will have an affordable 2k camera by then if Eufy/Anker don't get 2FA established for US customers.

Gripe number 2 is that I wish the tilt could tilt a little lower. I tested the cam on a bookshelf and my mantle and it seems like it should be able to look down further than it does so you'd have to prop it up with something under the camera or something like that to get a better look if it's high on a shelf.

Honestly, all cloud devices run a risk of some form of security breach. Nothing is bulletproof. I think that I'd be comfortable sticking these in the garage, a workshop, patio, etc.. somewhere outside but nothing on the inside of my home just yet until I know for sure that Anker support couldn't be socially engineered to give access to my account to someone besides me.

I want to start off by saying that I currently own 6 Eufy cameras. 3 indoor, 2 outdoor, plus a new e340 doorbell camera that I am waiting to be delivered.

All of these cameras are great. Especially these E220's. I got the 2 pack for a pretty good price from Amazon. I also LOVE Amazon!

These e220's are easy and very fast to install. I've already got the eufy app, so install is literally only 5 mins per camera. Most of the time is due to the updating and syncing to my wifi. The actual install only takes 1 minute, the rest of the time is spent waiting for the update etc.

The camera quality is good at 2k. They have a nice wide field of view. The picture quality is great. Obviously, the more resolution the better, but these ones are good enough for my indoor use. They zoom, have an alarm on them and you can speak and listen through them as well, via the app. They are plugged into a 120V wall socket. They have pretty good night vision as well.

They record when movement is detected and you can customize it all in the app with many different options. I always buy SanDisk 10 speed, 120GB MicroSD cards for these cameras. They work 100% of the time in these devices and they hold a ton of information. Best thing with these Eufy products is that there are ZERO monthly fees and you can view the cameras via the app from anywhere in the world with a stable wifi connection and your phone or tablet.

I highly recommend these cameras. I also highly recommend Eufy, itself. I will be buying more. Thanks Eufy! Feel free to reach out to me so that I can review more of your products, especially on my YouTube channel! Thanks.
