Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Plus with motion-activated 1080p HD video, White (2021 release)

I’ve got two installed on my house. They mostly work well. There’s some bugs though. 1) The lights come on and off all the time, for no apparent reason whatsoever. Haven’t been able to fix that.
2) There’s some kind of bug in them that turns the video recording on long after the zone is penetrated. It’s set to trigger at the end of my driveway and does, but the recording doesn’t start for something like 10 seconds later. So, I get great footage of the last half of my car pulling into the garage. It’s really not okay! I’ve had several occasions where a person who’s been stalking my house has been recorded, but they’ve already come over 80 feet up the driveway before the video begins. Only a small portion of their car is shown and the damage is already in progress. It’s because of this person that I installed the ring cameras! Epic fail
3) wind, rain, snow, hail, wind, and birds all trigger this thing. So do squirrels and cats. But apparently a car doesn’t cause it to react the same.
Love the app feature though and the ability to use and view from anywhere. The product is relatively easy to install and well put together.
Good enough for low threat applications and easy enough to use.

Bought this for the back of our house to show our horse pasture when we were on vacation. Our barn is 350ish feet from the house and we can see the entirety of the 1.5 acre pasture with this camera. The resolution is good enough at that distance to see what's going on, but isn't quite "HD", which is fine. The night vision even at 150-200' is enough to see that the horses were doing ok. The motion sensor is VERY sensitive, and the alerts can get annoying if you have them set while working/walking in the area. We have them turned off unless we are going to be gone for an extended amount of time. The spotlight is surprisingly bright for being so small. Happy with the purchase.

We have been having intruders in our back yard at night. We feel so much safer now. The video is clear. Nice bright lights. It picks up the entire back yard. You can set it to just pick up people. Not squirrels, rabbits or branches. It also has a siren if you want to turn it on. We are going to purchase another one for the front of the house to replace our older ring doorbell. The quality has really improved. Sleeping much better now.

I have 11 different ring cameras on the inside an outside of my home 3 on solar panels 1 ring 4 doorbell, my ,1dt camera was this floodlight camera which I purchased approximately 19yrs ago or so, I finally needed to replace it due to the led would continuously intermittently flash about every second not actually coming on video still worked great it has always been under a covered awning somewhat out of the weather an new Mexico blazing summer sun, guess it was at it's life expectancy about $50.00 more now but well worth the cost an I received it 1 day shipping now installed easy as pie setup an connection to my wifi an chime pro, all ring cameras reliable an excellent operation yup this is an excellent camera an led lite system couldn't be more pleased even my Alexa love it , yup buy this one an be happy like me

Connected extremely easily. Images are crisp in daylight and very good at night.

Motion detection is good but I discovered I have raccoons visiting my deck and they set it off even with sensitivity turned to minimal. The result makes my deck look like a flashing advertisement most of the night. I don’t want it disabled but wish I could really get it only to see people.
